Flickr meet

I would just like to say a big thank you to all that attended yesterday. The meet was a great success. It was a shame that it rained intermittently throughout the day, but it wasn't about taking images , but the chance for us all to meet like minded photographers who appreciate shooting with TLR's, and we all got to see a bit of London and a couple of exhibitions.

Blue Eagles reunion

Had an awesome time seeing old faces at the reunion last night and reminiscing with old stories. Fantastic. Can't wait to do it all again!

DCUK shoot a success

After driving through the rain to get to the Drum Corps show on Sunday, the weather held off just enough to get some remarkable images for the corps including the group photographs of each competing corps. The images can be viewed at www.marchingmedia.co.uk

DCUK show

Im looking forward to photographing the DCUK show tomorrow at Leicester which will be the last show before the championship finals on the 20th which I will also be covering. I will be taking all the group shots for the annual program. Just hope it doesn't rain!

Centenarians project update.

I just wanted to take a moment to share with you my latest update on the Centenarians project. I am photographing 102-year-old Ivy Bean today, who is the oldest member on facebook. Ive also heard that her next encounter with technology is the Nintendo Wii! It just goes to show your never too old to try new things. Should be an interesting shoot. 

new software

The 20th August is such a special day for me for so many reasons, so its very poignant to start my blog on this very day. I hope you enjoy it.

I have just tried a new piece of software which has just been made available for the Safari 3.1 web browser and would like to share it with fellow photographers. Its called Cool Iris, formally known as PicLens. It allows you to view images from Goggle, Flickr, Websites and other media sites in a totally different way. Its like a virtual wall gallery. Download it for free and try it out!
